Gabe's special interest in esports led him to create Wake Forest University's first ever intercollegiate gaming event. Combining his skills in event management with his connections in the collegiate esports world, Gabe hosted three straight years of national-level competition. Gabe worked as an event referee for five different Halo Championship Series Events. As a referee, he ensured the professional integrity of the Esports Engine open pool setups. Handling tech issues and player disputes alike, Gabe approached any matter with textbook customer support while maintaining a positive player experience.
